Alica Tserkovnaja (she/her, they/them)
[ɐˈlisə t͡sɨrˈkovnəjə] Алиca Церковная - b. 1988 in Leningrad, SSSR. Stockholm based, interdisciplinary artist, working across performance, dance, theatre and music.
My artistic practice is made up of somatic practises, writing, sound making, acting and digital media.
Through collaborative processes and solo work, the final form can take many shapes; site-specific performances, sound pieces, plays at theatre stages, dance performances outdoors, talks and knowledge sharing in different forms.
I hold an MA in Music Performance from Malmö Music Academy and a BA in Mime Acting from Stockholm University of the Arts.
I serve as a board member of the artist-run association Fylkingen (2024–27).
Also, I teach, lead, and design educational workshops for young adults and children, nurturing their artistic craft and creativity.
